Surayan provides meaningful connection to youth through classical music, while promoting a centred progressive life. Dr. Priyanka Gulavani, who is an Ayurvedic practitioner by profession and Indian classical music vocalist by passion, established this Foundation. She was exposed to classical music at the very young age of 4 years. Through her rigorous training and practice, she earned the distinction of a Gold medalist in her Masters in Music in 1996. Her passion for music is passed on to her son who, with his strong flare for instrumental music, is excelling in Tabla under the close guidance of Pt Arvind Kumar Azad of Banaras gharana. |
